This is Dublin’s only free all year open-air weekend art exhibition which now has nearly 200 artists exhibiting. It is the perfect place to pick up quality art. Every year new artists are allowed to exhibit so the work and artists keep changing. If you have an eye for art, you could well come away with your very own treasure.

Merrion Square art has been regular feature for many years in Dublin on a Sunday afternoon with a romantic stroll around Merrion Square when it becomes an open-air art gallery. The Exhibition runs from 10.30am to 6.30pm.

The Exhibition is organised by Dublin City Council and the Artists are only allowed to exhibit original paintings of their own creation on Merrion Square so you get to buy original art directly from the artist.

You get to meet the artist, discuss their art and get an insight into the colourful life of the artist. The artists are friendly and are happy to talk about their work with passersby.

What better way than to spend a Sunday afternoon than to have a romantic stroll around Merrion Square in a beautiful Georgian setting viewing art. All the family can enjoy art in this cultural setting.

There is a great variety on display, with of course a great selection of work from traditional to contemporary styles.
