Q: How do I apply to exhibit on Merrion Square?
A: You have to contact Dublin City Council, Culture, Recreation & Amenity Department, Casual Trading Section, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, Ireland. You can also email Martina Halpin at martina.halpin@dublincity.ie or Jonathan Murray at jonathan.murray@dublincity.ie to be put on the waiting list. You can also phone Dublin City Council at 01 2223377.
Q: How long is the waiting list?
A: The waiting list is about two years long at the moment.
Q: Do I need anything else?
A: You need public liability insurance. You will get details when you are offered a pitch.
Q: How big is the space?
A: You get about 8 feet of space on the railing to exhibit your paintings.
Q: Can I have my website listed on merrionart.com?
A: If you are an Artist exhibiting on Merrion Square then you can have your website listed here for free. Just email info@merrionart.com with your name and website address.
Q: How do I get a picture of mine in the Gallery area?
A: The Gallery is set up at the request of the Artists on Merrion Square. Exhibiting artists are allowed to exhibit one painting that has a link to their website for a year. There is a small administration fee for the year to cover the cost of maintenance. If you are an exhibiting artist, Just email info@merrionart.com with your picture and details of how to pay the administration fee will be forwarded to you.
